The role will be responsible for administration, monitoring, performance tuning, patching, backup & recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, and lifecycle management of Oracle databases supporting IFS ERP production, test, and development environments. The candidate should possess strong Oracle DBA skills combined with expertise in Oracle Database Appliance administration and enterprise ERP support. Relevant Oracle database, Exadata, ODA, migration, backup, and Oracle platform capabilities are reflected in Tech Mahindra's Oracle practice experience. __________________________________________________ Primary Responsibilities: Oracle Database Appliance Administration Administer Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) environments. ODA deployment, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management. Capacity planning and hardware resource utilization. ODA monitoring and health checks. Storage management and performance optimization. ODA troubleshooting and root cause analysis. __________________________________________________ Oracle Database Administration Oracle Database 12c / 19c / 21c administration. Database creation and cloning. Tablespace management. User and security administration. Database performance tuning. Database upgrades and migrations. Oracle Grid Infrastructure administration. Oracle ASM administration. Relevant Oracle database administration and support activities are reflected in Tech Mahindra Oracle capability assets and Oracle database support engagements. __________________________________________________ IFS ERP Database Support Support IFS Application environments. Database performance optimization for IFS workloads. Troubleshoot ERP batch jobs and database issues. Support IFS upgrades and application patches. Analyze SQL performance impacting IFS transactions. Coordinate with IFS application teams and infrastructure teams. __________________________________________________ Backup, Recovery & DR RMAN administration. Backup validation and recovery testing. Disaster Recovery planning and execution. Oracle Data Guard administration. Switchover and failover activities. Business continuity support.
